Membership in Capstone Alliance is open to all faculty, staff, and graduate students at The University of Alabama, as well as to members of the Tuscaloosa community.
Membership Levels
Full Member ($25 annual dues): A full member is an employee of the university (full, part-time, retired, or emeritus, faculty or staff) who pays their $25 annual dues. Full members have voting privileges, may serve as a committee chair, and may run for all officer positions.
Graduate Student Member ($0 annual dues): A graduate student member is a graduate student at the university (full or part-time) who supports the mission of Capstone Alliance. Graduate student members have voting privileges, may serve as a Committee Chair, and may run for any officer position except President-Elect.
Community Member ($0 annual dues): A community member is anyone who supports the mission of Capstone Alliance but does not wish to pay dues. Community members do not have voting privileges, can serve on committees but not chair them, and may not run for officer.
How to Join
Step 1:
Complete the member registration form. You only need to do this once. If you need to update any of your contact information, just fill it out again with your updated info.
Step 2:
Pay your $25 annual dues (if applicable). We are currently only accepting cash or check. You can send your payment to Jair Lizarazo-Adarme, University of Alabama, Campus Box 870200, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487-0200.
Step 3:
Sign up for the Capstone Alliance email list. Expect five e-mails a month or fewer.
