The purpose of the Queer Student Association (QSA) is to advocate for and advance the agenda of the LGBTQIA+ community within the State of Alabama, and the University of Alabama by serving as a medium between the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to university administration. The goal of the QSA is to foster understanding and education within the university and surrounding communities of LGBTQIA+ individuals and preventing discrimination against them.
