On October 11, 1987, lesbian and gay activists marched on Washington to demand equality for the queer community. Yearly, this day is remembered through the celebration of National Coming Out Day. Capstone Alliance would like to celebrate this occasion by launching an online visual depiction of LBGTQ+ faculty, staff, and graduate students on campus. We hope this effort will demonstrate to prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and the broader community that there are many LGBTQ+ people here at UA and that they are not alone.
If you are a faculty member, staff member, or graduate student at UA who is out as LGBTQ+ and would like to be added to this page, please send your name, title and affiliation, how you self-identify, preferred pronouns, and photo (square or croppable) to the CA webmaster at capstonealliance@gmail.edu. This page was last updated 30 August 2019. Capstone Alliance hopes this page will continue to grow!
